Afghanistan have won the toss and elected to bowl first up agaisnt Ireland in the 1st ODI from Civil Service Cricket Club, Belfast.
In the first inning Ireland’s openers James McCollum failed to score much as he got out after scored 4 runs only.
Paul Stirling was amazing with his half century for his team as he knocked 71 runs off just faced 94 balls with the help of 6, fours and 2, sixes.
William Porterfield and Kevin O’Brien helped Ireland in the batting to carry runs ahead of the scoreboard.
As Porterfield scored half century 53 runs off 83 balls along with 6, fours and Kevin O’Brien knocked 32 runs off just faced 44 balls including with 4, fours only.
Ireland team posted 210 runs on the scoreboard with the lost of 10 wickets with in 48.5 overs. Dawlat Zadran and Aftab Alam both took 3 wickets of Ireland team.
In the 2nd inning Afghanistan’s openers Mohammad Shahzad got out early after scored 2 runs only and Hazratullah Zazai was with 14 runs.
Rahmat Shah also not too much with his bat as he scored 4 runs only Asghar Afghan tried to power his inning but not as long he should have done.
Asghar scored 29 runs & Gulbadin Naib along with him Mohammad Nabi tried themselves to get close of chasing of the target.
But got failed to chased down the total as they were bowled out at the score of 138 runs only with in 35.4 overs
Mark Adair was his such an outstanding form of batting as he took 4 wickets off just conceded 19 runs in his 6.4 overs.
Ireland beat to Afghanistan in the first ODI & won by 72 runs of margin.
