Pakistan have won the toss and elected to bat first up against Afghanistan in the opening game of warm-up from County Ground, Bristol.
In the first inning Pakistan’s openers Fakhar Zaman was not good with his bat as he scored only 19 runs.
Imam did well at somewhere but could not make his half century as he managed to score 32 runs.
Haris Sohail flopped with 1 run only but Babar Azam again with his outstanding form of batting as knocked century for Pakistan at the crucial time scored 112 runs off 108 balls including with 10, fours and 2, sixes.
Mohammad Hafeez and Sarfraz Ahmed could not play much for their team but Shoaib Malik with his experience helped Pakistan team to reach at good total as Malik scored 44 runs. Pakistan were bowled out at the score of 262 runs with in 47.5 overs.
In the 2nd inning Afghanistan openers Mohammad Shahzad retired hurt after scored 23 runs due to his leg injury.
Hazratullah Zazai was with fireworks as he scored 49 runs 1 run short from his half century.
Rahmat Shah also helped with his score of 32 runs and Samiullah Shenwari was with 22 runs.
Asghar Afghan was bowled by Imad Wasim as he scored 7 runs only & AND Mohammad Nabi scored 34 runs.
Gulbadin Naib along with Najibullah Zadran flopped with their bat but Hashmatullah Shahidi was spectacualr with his bat as he knocked 74 runs off 102 balls.
Afghanistan chased down the total 263 runs with the lost of 7 wickets with in 49.4 overs beat to Pakistan team by 3 wickets in the first game of warm-up match.
