Sri Lanka have won the toss and elected to bat first against Australian team in the 7th warm-up game of ICC World Cup 2019 from The Rose Bowl, Southampton.
In the first inning Sri Lankan openers Dimuth Karunaratne got out early after scored after scored 16 runs.
But Lahiru Thirimanne was superb fine inning of 56 runs off 69 balls including with 7, fours only.
Kusal Perera and Kusal Mendis both tried to put some runs but not as much. Dhananjaya de Silva and Thisara Perera helped Sri Lankan team with their batting that reached 239 runs with the lost of 8 wickets after played 20 overs.
In the runs chase Aaron Finch got out early after scored 11 runs but Usman Khawaja was outstanding with his bat for Australian as he knocked 89 runs off just faced 105 balls including with 3, fours only.
While Shaun Marsh and Glenn Maxwell carried their scoreboard ahead in runs chasing as Marsh scored 34 runs and Maxwell was with 36 runs.
Marcus Stoinis was looking fine with 32 runs but could not carry ahead. Alex Carey ending 18 runs knocked helped Australian to chased down the total made back to back wins in warm-up matches as they beat England by 12 runs in their first warm up game.
