England have won the toss and elected to bowl first up against Afghanistan in the 8th warm-up match of ICC World Cup 2019 from Kennington Oval, London.
In the first inning Afghanistan’s openers Hazratullah Zazai got out early after scored 11 runs but Noor Ali Zadran tried himself to pushed scoreboard but could not make much as he scored 30 runs.
The whole middle order team flopped in the batting line up but Mohammad Nabi showed his class at the crucial time for his team as knocked 44 runs off 42 balls that carried score board at 160 runs where they were bowled out with in 38.4 overs.
Jofra Archer and Joe Root were successful bowler as they both took 3 wickets for their team.
In the 2nd inning England openers Jonny Bairstow was looking with his batting but could not make much as he scored 39 runs.
But along with him Jason Roy nailed it Afghanistan bowlers with his bat as knocked 89 runs not out off just faced 46 balls with the help of 11, fours and 4, sixes.
At the end Joe Root was amazing with his bat as well as scored 29 runs helped England to chased down the total 161 runs with the lost 1 wickets with in 17.3 overs.
England beat to Afghanistan team by 9 wickets in the 8th warm-up game of ICC World Cup 2019. While England have lost their first warm-up game against Australia by by 12 runs.
