South Africa have won the toss and elected to bowl first up against England in the opening game of ICC World Cup 2019 from Kennington Oval, London.
In the first inning of the match England openers Jonny Bairstow was on the golden duck by Imran Tahir.
But Jason Roy and Joe Root did superbly for their team as they both got half centuries Roy scored 54 runs and Root 51 runs.
The middle order batsman Eoin Morgan and Ben Stokes were outstanding with their bat as they knocked half centuries as well.
Morgan scored 57 runs and Stokes crunched 89 runs off 79 balls including with 9, fours only that helped England to post 311 runs on the scoreboard with the lost 8 wickets after played 50 overs.
In the runs chase African team openers Aiden Markram got out early after scored 11 runs.
Quinton de Kock was fine with his bat as he knocked 68 runs off 74 balls including with 6, fours and 2, sixes.
Francois du Plessis and Hashim Amla failed to score for their team but Rassie van der Dussen made some sorts of efforts as he scored 50 runs.
Andile Phehlukwayo tried himself to save the match but could not make that as they were bowled out by England at the score of 207 runs with in 39.5 overs.
England beat to South Africa by 104 runs in the very first game of ICC World Cup 2019. Ben Stokes was declared the player of the match for his outstanding All Round performance.
