In the first inning the openers of Islandars Lahiru Thirimanne failed to score for his team he got out after scored 4 runs.
Dimuth Karunaratne, Kusal Perera and Thisara Perera put some crucial runs on the scoreboard for team Sri Lanka but Karunaratne was not with his amazing half century for team as he knocked 52 runs off 84 balls including with 4, fours only.
Team Sri Lanka were bowled out by Kiwi at the score of 136 runs only with in 29.2 overs. Matt Henry and Lockie Ferguson were outstanding with bowling figure as both took 3 wickets of their opponent.
In the 2nd inning Kiwi openers Martin Guptill and Colin Munro spectacular partnership in the runs chase as both got up their half centuries.
Guptill knocked 73 runs not out off just faced 51 balls with the help of 8, fours and 2, sixes. Munro was 58 runs not out as well that helped New Zealand to chased the total with 16.1 overs and victory over Sri Lanka by 10 wickets.
Matt Henry was awarded the player of the match for his majestic bowling performance.
