South Africa have won the toss & elected to bowl first up against Bangladesh in the 5th match of ICC World Cup 2019 from Kennington Oval, London.
In the first inning the Bangladesh openers Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar provided them the solid stand of 60 runs at the beginning of the inning.
But Tamim got out at the score of 16 runs but Soumya Sarkar scored 42 runs including with 9, fours only.
Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim provided them solid partnership as Shakib bowled by Tahir on 75 runs and Rahim knocked 78 runs.
Mahmudullah Riyad and Mosaddek Hossain tons at the end of the inning as they posted 330 runs with the lost of 6 wickets with 50 overs.
In the runs chase the openers of Africa Quinton de Kock was looking fine but run out on 23 runs.
But Aiden Markram scored 45 runs off 56 balls including with 4, fours only. While skipper himself Francois du Plessis tons his half century for the team at the crucial time as he scored 62 runs 53 balls.
And David Miller was superb with his bat but could not continue to runs on as he was out at the score of 38 runs.
While Rassie van der Dussen and Jean-Paul Duminy were outstanding with their partnership for the team but could not make in the favor South Africa as they just managed to score 309 runs with the lost 8 wickets after played 50 overs.
Bangladesh made the up set of the tournament and what a way start journey of the event as a victorious as they beat up to South Africa by 21 runs in the 5th match of ICC World Cup 2019.
