England have won the toss and elected to bowl first up against Pakistan in the 6th match of ICC World Cup 2019 from Trent Bridge, Nottingham.
In the first inning Pakistan openers Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman played superb at the beginning as they contributed 82 runs for Pakistan.
Imam scored 44 runs off jsut faced 58 balls with the help of 3, fours and only a six. Fakhar played 36 runs of inning.
While Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez were outstanding with partnership as they helped Pakistan at the mean time.
Hafeez was with amazing 84 runs off 62 balls including with 8, fours and 2, sixes. Babar was half century 63 runs.
Sarfaraz Ahmed helped at the end with his half century as he knocked 55 runs that helped Pakistan to post 348 runs on the board with the lost of 8 wickets with in 50 overs.
In the runs chase England openers Jason Roy got out after scored 8 runs very early on Lbw by Shadab Khan.
Jonny Bairstow did well as he scored 32 runs after lost the wickets of Roy. Eoin Morgan failed to score for his England.
While Joe Root and Jos Buttler were centurion that helped to get more close to the match for the victory.
Then Moeen Ali and Chris Woakes tried themselves to secured the victory but could not make into their favor.
England team managed to score 334 runs with the lost of 9 wickets after played 50 overs as Pakistan beat up to red hot favorite team of this event by 14 runs.
Hafeez was awarded the player of the match for his spectacular All Round performance as his got back it’s a good sign for Pakistan Team.
