New Zealand have won the toss & chose to bowl first up against Bangladesh in the 9th match of ICC World Cup 2019 from Kennington Oval, London.
In the first inning Bangladesh openers Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar provided them the 45 runs of the opening stand to their team.
Tamim got out after scored 24 runs and Soumya scored 25 runs. Shakib Al Hasan scored half century as he knocked 64 runs off 68 balls including with 7 fours.
While Mohammad Mithun, Mahmudullah Riyad and Mohammad Saifuddin puts some runs at the end that helped tigers to post 244 runs on the scoreboard with the lost of 10 wickets with in 49.2 overs. Matt Henry took 4 wickets again with his amazing form of bowling.
In the 2nd inning Kiwi openers Martin Guptill got out after scored 25 runs and Colin Munro scored 24 runs.
But Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor helped Kiwis made chase as Williamson knocked 40 runs and along with him Taylor scored 82 runs.
At the ending James Neesham and Mitchell Santner helped New Zealand to chased down the total easily 245 runs and won the match by 2 wickets. Ross Taylor was awarded the player of the match.
