The 8th match between Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi was played in the Multan Cricket Stadium. Where Multan Sultans won the toss and elected to bowl first.

While the Umpire duties were conducted by Asif Yaqoob, Faisal Afridi as well as the 3rd umpire duty was given by Shozab Raza. Peshawar Zalmi started batting first as Tom Banton could not perform and gone back pavilion after 4 runs.

While Kamran Akmal who performed well in last match but he could not make his form continue ahead in this match. As Kamran Akmal lost his wicket after scoring 15 runs.

Shoaib Malik and Liam Livingstone flopped to score for Zalmi where Zalmi went into such a trouble where Haider Ali done the trick for his team as tons up 47 runs off just faced 27 balls including with 6, fours and 2, sixes.

Liam Dawson had some ending runs for the Zalmi as they ended up their inning at 123 runs where they were bowled out with in 18.3 overs.

In the runs Peshawar Zalmi fought back with the ball as strike some early wickets of Multan Sultans James Vince and Moeen Ali both were failed to score as went back to pavilion so early.

While the skipper himself Shan Masood also could not manage to carry their scoreboard ahead as he lost his wicket after scoring 9 runs.

Although Rilee Rossouw along with him Khushdil Shah slapped stormy bats as helped Multan Sultans chase easily. Khushdil Shah was not 43 runs and Rilee Rossouw was just 1 run shot from his half century as finished in style not out.

A Comfortable victory and must win match for Multan Sultans beat to Peshawar Zalmi by 6 wickets in their home ground. Sohail Tanvir was declared the player of the match for his outstanding performance.
