Pakistan lost some early wickets as Abid Ali lost his at the stage of 47 runs where Zimbabwe team striked their first one. Abid Ali took time but looked dangerously but unfortunately continued.

Imam scored 58 runs off just faced 75 balls with the help of 6 fours. But Haris Sohail superbly stood out and delivered his team, the solid tons up in the shape of 71 runs that helped them to bring up 200 runs in the meantime.
But the last not the least All- rounder Imad Wasim did an amazing ending knock that helped Pakistan to reach at the score of 281 runs with the loss of 8 wickets after playing 50 overs.
In the 2nd inning Zimbabwe looked solid but unlucky with their openers as Brian Chari lost his wicket early on.
Chamu Chibhabha also flopped with the bat as lost his wicket, But Craig Ervine did exactly what they required at the pressure time when they lost their 2 crucial wickets.
While Wesley Madhevere had a great knock of 55 runs that carried their scoreboard ahead in winning way. Brendan Taylor was outstanding in smashing a century of 112 runs, the crucial punches but could not finish it in the favor of the Zimbabwe team as they were bowled out at the score of 255 runs.
The best bowling from Pakistan side by Wahab Riaz with four wickets and Shaheen Shah Afridi 5 wickets that brought back momentum in the game for Pakistan. Unlucky Brendan Taylor started well but not ended well, nevertheless he was declared the player of the match.
