Islamabad United Started Their HBL PSL 2021 Campaign With The Victory Over Sultans

The 3rd games of the HBL PSL 2021 Season was scheduled in the National Stadium Karachi, Where Islamabad United won the toss and elected to bowl first which really helped United restricted them.

Multan Sultans did not have a good start with their openers Chris Lynn flopped as lost his wicket early taken by Faheem Ashraf Caught behind.

J. Vince was looking good but could not support his partner as he also went back to the pavilion, and the danger man himself Rossouw was going good with but unlucky could not make it long for his team Sultans.

But what an inning was played by skipper Rizwan for his team under pressure that really pushed Sultans on the right track of the scoreboard. One of the great knocks of his inning so far in the history of HBL PSL, 71 runs off facing 53 deliveries that is really an inning played by Rizwan.

Alex Hales started going well with the runs but could not convert into the long inning, and the rest of the players in the middle order could not support his team as United went into trouble losing consecutive wickets.
But the partnership by Lewis Gregory and Faheem Ashraf really assist the United to carry on their victory hope ahead. But Faheem lost his wicket on the ball of C.Brathwaite.
Lewis Gregory was tremendously played helpful for United came out their team from huge trouble with the bat by scoring 49 runs off just faced 31 balls only, unlucky he was 1 run short from his first-ever half-century.
Lewis Gregory Finished in style hitting 19 runs on the over of An experienced player himself Sohail Tanvir. Islamabad United beat to Multan Sultans by 3 wickets in 19 overs. Lewis Gregory was declared the player of the match his outstanding all-round performance.
